OGDEN -- Rescue workers were at the scene of a multivehicle accident late Monday afternoon at 12th Street and Harrison Boulevard.

Paramedics treated some of the injured who remained in the smashed vehicles, while firefighters worked to remove them from the vehicles.

As many as six vehicles appear to have been involved in the crash.

Witnesses said one of the vehicles ran a red light.
