SYRACUSE -- A Layton man was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of sexually abusing two teenage girls.
Robert Lloyd Zesiger, 30, was booked into Davis County Jail on suspicion of three counts of forcible sexual abuse and one count of aggrevated sexual abuse.
Police arrested him after a 14-year-old girl told her parents that he had touched her inappropriately, said Syracuse Police Lt. Tracy Jensen. Police also suspect he abused a friend of the girl, who is about the same age, Jensen said, adding that the suspected abuse would have happened within the past two weeks. Jensen said Zesiger met the girls through his girlfriend, who knows the two teens.
Zesiger is a registered sex offender in Utah, who was also on federal probation, Jensen said.
"Apparently it had something to do with child pornography," Jensen said of the federal charge, though he did not have the details immediately available.
