OGDEN -- Students from The University of Utah College of Social Work have organized a fundraiser 5K run to benefit the needs of the Saint Anne's Shelter.
Saint Anne's ensures that men, women and children have a stable place to live and employment before completing their case management program.
Saint Anne's also provides services to the homeless population of Ogden by counting on donations from the private sector.
Their main goal in organizing this event is to create awareness.
The race will be held on Saturday, April 21, on the Ogden River Parkway, beginning at the MTC Learning Park.
The race will begin at 9 a.m., with pre-registration at 8 a.m. Registration fee is $25 and only $15 with a donation brought the day of the event.
All money will be donated to the St. Anne's Shelter. For more information, visit www.ogden5krun.com.
