CLEARFIELD -- Police have arrested a third person, who they say encouraged the shooter that injured five people at a party in Clearfield in March.
Dwayne Ace Brown, 25, of Ogden, was booked into Davis County Jail on Wednesday on five counts of aggravated assault, one count of discharging a firearm in the direction of a person or building and one count of rioting. He is being held on no bail.
"He wasn't the shooter, but he told the shooter, something like 'Get your gun out and shoot them,'" said Assistant Police Chief Mike Stenquist. "Mr. Brown didn't fire the shot but was an accessory to the shooting. His part was significant."
The Davis County Attorney's Office is reviewing the case for formal charges to file in 2nd District Court.
