ROY -- A woman suspected of forging eight prescriptions was arrested after police say she evaded them.
Jamie Solis, 29, picked up six prescriptions of oxycodone and methadone from a Roy Walgreens in November and December, according to an affidavit for a warrant for her arrest.
Solis told the employees she was picking up the drugs for her mother, but the pharmacy and police deduced that the doctor on the prescriptions never signed them or had the mother as a patient, the affidavit reads.
The pharmacy called police Feb. 3 because Solis dropped off two more prescriptions and would be back in 10 minutes.
When an officer approached her in the drive-thru, she drove off. He pursued her, but she ran a red light to get away, according to the affidavit.
Police filed a warrant for her arrest. She was booked into Weber County Jail on Tuesday on suspicion of evading and several counts of fraudulent prescriptions.
