Police identify Marriott-Slaterville worker who died in Draper

DRAPER — Police here have identified Thayne Hansen, 52, as the man who died Wednesday after being hit by a vehicle while at work.

Hansen, of Marriott-Slaterville, was working in a storm drain when a driver pulled into a parking lot near 150 E. 11950 South in Draper and struck him, said Draper Police Sgt. Pat Evans.

Hansen was taken to a local hospital, where he died later that day.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
