Two men charged in assault case

OGDEN — Three men have been arrested in connection to the beating of a man in a dispute over money.

Haben Michael, 19, and Aaron Sullivan, 21, were charged Friday in 2nd District Court with aggravated assault, aggravated kidnapping and aggravated burglary.

At least three suspects forced their way into an apartment at 4380 Harrison Blvd. on the night of April 11, according to probable cause statements.

The group shot the victim several times with a BB gun, then beat him and used a Taser on him repeatedly, the statements add.

The group told the seven other people who were there that they would be shot and killed if they interfered, and one suspect stood in the doorway to keep anyone from leaving, the statements read.

All of the suspects were armed with handguns, witnesses told police.

The victim later told investigators that the attack was related to a drug debt. Police arrested Michael, Sullivan and Joshua Tenove, 21, Thursday night. Tenove had yet to be charged as of Friday night.
