‘Poop-a-Palooza’ to benefit schools

KAYSVILLE — A group of Kaysville citizens working to raise $31,000 to install sidewalks leading to Centennial Junior High and Snow Horse Elementary schools are holding a “Poop-a-Palooza” fundraiser from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday.

The event will be held in the open fields behind Centennial Junior High, 740 S. Sunset Drive.

For a $5 donation, residents put their name in a square of a field with a horse. When the horse does its duty, whoever’s name is closest wins $500.

Prizes for runners-up include a digital camera, a SportsPlex Gym family membership and an iPod shuffle.

The event will include pony carriage rides, food, games and a dunk tank for Centennial Principal Aaron Hogge.
