River search resumes for missing Layton boy

OGDEN -- A scaled-back search resumed at 7 a.m. today for 4-year-old Corbin Anderson, who fell into the Weber River during a family photo session Saturday evening.

Searchers used kayaks on the river and were conducting foot patrols, including dogs, along the banks of the river in the search for the young boy.

Unlike Monday, there were no plans to use divers during the search today.

Scott Anderson, the boy’s grandfather, described Corbin as a typical boy who loved the outdoors.

He was always happy and wanted to play, the grandfather said, and didn’t have any fear.

Anderson and about 10 other family members walked the river’s edge today, aiding in the search for the missing boy.
