OGDEN — Several road closures are scheduled in the Ogden area during the next few days as the USA Cycling Collegiate Road National Championships take place.
From 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Ogden will close downtown streets between 25th and 27th streets from Grant to Ogden Avenue.
At 8 a.m. Sunday, rolling closures will occur in Ogden Canyon, Upper Ogden Valley, North Ogden and the North Ogden Divide, causing short delays as cyclists travel the course.
Also on Sunday, the eastbound lane of Ogden Canyon will close from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
An estimated 400 collegiate cycling competitors from more than 100 schools will compete in the event, scheduled for Thursday through Sunday.
