SALT LAKE CITY -- A suspect in the killing of a 15-year-old Utah girl is facing felony kidnapping charges unrelated to the teen's death.
Court documents filed Tuesday say 31-year-old Daniel Robert Ferry, of Sandy, is charged with aggravated kidnapping and witness tampering.
Ferry is accused of kidnapping and beating a woman he says owed him money. Court documents say Ferry forced others to beat and throw darts at the woman and shave her head.
Ferry is one of three men police say are suspects in the death of Anne Kasprzak. Her body was found in the Jordan River in March after her family reported her missing.
Ferry is also accused of sending two men to a witness's home.
Ferry remains in the Salt Lake County Jail.
