NORTH OGDEN -- The city is considering the addition of several street lights in neighborhoods after residents have been approaching the city council about dark streets.
City policy states that street lights should be every 600 feet at city intersections and some neighborhoods are not abiding by that policy.
Mayor Richard Harris said the city will closely examine and start working toward making that change.
"I think we should at least meet our minimum standard," Harris said.
City Councilman Wade Bigler asked that the council discuss where the street lights should be put at the meeting scheduled for May 8.
