School official to speak on Monday

SOUTH OGDEN — The Women’s Legislative Council of Weber County invites the public to discuss the future of education in Ogden on Monday.

The council will begin its monthly meeting at 6 p.m., with speakers at 6:30 p.m., at the South Ogden Senior Center, 538 E. 39th St.

Ogden School District Superintendent Brad Smith will talk about the future of education in the city. Sen. Allen Christensen, R-North Ogden, and Rep. Gage Froerer, R-Huntsville, will update the attendees about which legislative bills passed this year.
