Student wins Ford Motors scholarship

SYRACUSE — A Syracuse High School senior has been awarded a $1,000 scholarship by Ed Kenley Ford of Layton and the Ford Motor Company as part of the ongoing FFA scholarship program.

AmyAnne Harris, planning to graduate this spring, is the daughter of Robert Harris and Jane Harris of Riverdale. She plans to study agricultural education at Weber State University.

The “Built Ford Tough” FFA Scholarship Program is designed to recognize FFA members’ talents and accomplishments while encouraging their future academic achievements, officials said.
