Baby animals, family fun in Kaysville this weekend

May 10 2012 - 11:46pm

KAYSVILLE -- The first-ever Baby Animal Days at Utah State University Botanical Gardens will serve as a fundraiser for Davis 4-H and to further develop the gardens.

From 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, USU Extension will host at the gardens an event where families and children can interact with baby animals.

The gardens are in Kaysville just east of Interstate 15, at 725 Sego Lily Drive. The cost is $20 per family or $5 per person.

Some of the baby animals to be available are lambs, bunnies, llamas, chicks, ducklings and piglets, said Kathy Bardwell, USU Extension Office spokeswoman.
