SALT LAKE CITY - A Utah juvenile court judge is closing custody hearings for three children of a woman who died suspiciously last fall.
The Salt Lake Tribune reports the petition by the woman's 18-year-old son to remove his three younger siblings from his father's home will be decided behind closed doors.
Pelle Wall says in the petition he was so afraid while living with his dad, John Brickman Wall, that he slept with an Airsoft gun and a knife.
John Wall and 49-year-old Uta von Schwedler were involved in a bitter custody battle after divorcing in 2006.
Von Schwedler's body was found Sept. 27 in an overflowing bathtub with a knife under her body.
Salt Lake City police call the death suspicious but no charges have been filed.
