Community invited to LGBT discussion

OGDEN — Area residents are invited to attend “Making Change: A Community Stands Against LGBT Bullying and Suicide,” to be held at 7:15 p.m. Thursday in the main Weber County Library auditorium, 2464 Jefferson Ave.

“Energy remains high in Northern Utah for safety and love for LGBT youth,” states a news release from organizers.

LGBT stands for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender.

“It’s time for solutions and positive change,” states the release. “Bring your ideas, hear from people who are making a difference to prevent bullying and suicide in our schools and community.

“Let’s learn and plan together to make Northern Utah a great place for all youth to grow to be happy, healthy adults.”
