OGDEN -- The Utah Department of Transportation closed a portion of Washington Boulevard for the next two days.

UDOT spokesman Vic Saunders said Washington the southbound lane is closed from 32nd Street to 34th Street as crews fix a sinkhole in the road that occurred during a resurfacing project.

Saunders said motorists will be routed to Grant Avenue at 32nd Street and be able to connect with Washington again at 34th Street.
