Harrisville Hastings offers summer reading program

HARRISVILLE — Young readers have a chance to win computers for themselves as well as their school during Hastings Summer Reading Program.

The program began earlier this month and resumes at 1 p.m. Saturday. The program continues throughout the summer at the same time on Saturdays, June 9, June 23, July 14, July 28, Aug. 11, Aug. 25 and Sept. 8.

Participants are invited to participate in an essay contest to win their own computers as well as one for their school. The deadline for the contest is Sept. 15. The program features a number of books and includes a Fardoodles coloring contest and gift-card prizes.

The program is free at the bookstore, 340 E. 525 North, Harrisville. Call 801-399-2090 for more information.
