PLAIN CITY -- An Ogden man is accused of not only theft, but possessing a stolen trailer where police say he stored the goods.
Jody Greenhalgh, 23, was charged with theft by receiving stolen property and three counts of felony-level theft in 2nd District Court on Wednesday. He was also charged with burglary.
On May 16, the owner of three stolen all-terrain vehicles followed Greenhalgh to a trailer near 5400 W. 1600 North, where the suspect removed the stolen goods from his truck and put them inside the trailer, according to a probable cause statement.
The owner called police, who came to the scene Monday and found the stolen property inside the trailer, the statement reads. They also found out that the trailer was stolen, though Greenhalgh isn't the one who stole it, it adds.
