PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. -- The surging Ogden Outlaws pulled in four points from a two-match road trip in southern California, further extending their unbeaten streak heading into a massive six-match homestand that kicks off this week.
Ogden was just an errant bounce away from a full value weekend, after knocking off the Southern California Seahorses 1-0 on Friday night in La Mirada, Calif., and drawing the Pali Blues 2-2 late Saturday.
With the results, Ogden extended its unbeaten streak to four straight matches (2-0-2).
Against the Blues, Ogden fell behind 1-0 in the 14th minute, but midfielder Daniel Burnham answered back just seconds later to level the match.
Chance Bukoski scored on a header in the 75th minute to make it 2-1 in Ogden's favor, and the Outlaws nearly pulled off the sweep, but were called for handling in the box in stoppage time, and the Blues converted the penalty to make it 2-2.
In Friday's win at the Seahorses, Ogden's Ross Williams scored the match-winner in the 52nd minute off an assist from collegiate teammate Matt Kuehl. K.C. John got the shutout in goal for the Outlaws.
Ogden (2-2-2) kicks off a six-match homestand on Thursday when it hosts FC Tucson at Bonneville High School, before taking on arch-rival BYU on Saturday at 6 p.m.
