Bureaucrats are incompetent and deserve to be fired! They know all about the problems with the area west of the railroad tracks near the FrontRunner station on 4000 South and they say they're about ready to remedy them. Yet month after month, year after year, while planning their stamped concrete masterpiece they completely ignore the deadly hazards and have done nothing.
It's been over four years with zero warning signs, zero improvements. It's a miracle no one has died there yet. This had better change right now!
No expense was spared to build the FrontRunner station on 4000 south in Roy, but immediately west of the railroad tracks presents a deadly hazard to pedestrians. There are no warning signs. There are no sidewalks. The road is very narrow and the shoulders are distressed. The tracks sit higher than the road, so motorists can't see far. The area has no lighting, that's .15 miles in either direction. How is it possible that they've only put up signs for the new walking path? Again, this hazard area is well known to Roy City, UTA, and Weber County.
Bureaucrats are going to put up some yellow diamond signs with flashers to warn motorists about the pedestrian hazards! They are going to install a big street light! These are things they should have done four years ago!
If someone dies on that road and they've done nothing while creating paradise, this letter and all my photos could cost damages when they are sued. And if it comes to that, they'll deserve it.
