State high school rodeo queen named

HEBER CITY -- Taylor Anderson, of Paradise, is the new Utah High School Rodeo Association queen.

Anderson now will represent Utah at the National High School Rodeo in July in Rock Springs, Wyo.

Anderson was the winner of the horsemanship, speech, impromptu speaking, personality, interview and test categories of competition.

She also tied Cassidy Black, of Coalville, and Savannah Steed, of Farr West, in the appearance category.

Black was winner of the modeling competition and named first attendant. Steed was second attendant, with Rachel Halverson as third attendant.

Miss Congeniality was McKenna Hales, of Morgan.
