Rotary Club to give Award to three

OGDEN — Rotary Club of Ogden is inviting community service leaders and volunteers to the third annual Garden Party at 6:30 p.m. June 29 at the Eccles Art Center Gardens, 2580 Jefferson Ave.

Dinner, live music and entertainment will highlight the evening.

Three individuals will be honored with the Brett Richards Service Award. Richards, a prominent Ogden architect and member of the Rotary Club of Ogden, was killed in a robbery while on a trip to Guatemala in January 2004 with his wife and other family members. The award was created in his honor to remember the service that he provided for so many years to our community and the world.

Those being honored are E. Rich Brewer, community volunteer and business leader; Robert Lindquist, Lindquist Cemeteries; and Ann Milner, president of Weber State University.

Cost is $30 per person. RSVP by 5 p.m. June 25 to Debbie Nielson: djazz131@aol.com, or 801-791-0357. Visit www.ogdenrotary.com for more details.
