NORTH OGDEN -- The North Ogden Police Department is asking for help from anyone who can identify those responsible for a recent stolen vehicle and criminal mischief complaint.
A white pickup truck belonging to Marsh Construction was stolen from the company's lot in the area of 350 E. 2000 N. in North Ogden, early on the morning of June 14.
The vehicle was seen about 5:30 a.m. that day on U.S. 89 in Perry. It was found abandoned on ranch property in South Willard, near the Weber-Box Elder county line.
The vehicle had been used to ram several gates to gain entry to the property.
A video clip of the truck's passenger entering the Maverik gas station and store in Perry that morning shows a man in his early- to mid-20s, wearing tan pants and shoes, a green jacket and green baseball cap.
Anyone with information concerning the theft, the damage incurred on the ranch property or the identity of the person in the video, which can be viewed on the Standard-Examiner's web site at www.standard.net, is asked to contact North Ogden Police through the Weber Consolidated Dispatch Center, 801-629-8221.
