Davis clerk limits services June 26

Jun 20 2012 - 10:26pm

FARMINGTON -- Because of the anticipated workload for the Davis County Clerk's office in relation to the June 26 primary, no passports will be issued or marriages performed that day.

The clerk's office is expecting a busy primary, and overseeing primary election voting will be the top priority for county officials, said Terry Tremea, chief deputy of administration in the clerk/auditor's office.

Passports and marriages, which are handled by the clerk's office, will be available again the day after the election.
