Farr West OKs revised planning proposal

FARR WEST — A revised planning proposal for commercial development in Farr West was recently approved.

Professional planner John Jansen is working on studies for future growth in the commercial area of the city, and the revised planning proposal drops the cost for the city from the original amount of $30,000 to $19,500 with the participation of Pleasant View city.

“I’m quite excited to work with Pleasant View,” said Farr West Councilman Paul Dinsdale.

He said his communication with Pleasant View Community Development Director Bruce Talbot has been a positive experience, as it has been with Jansen.

“Its a win-win for both cities,” said Councilman Tim Shupe.

“With traffic plans and everything else, it just makes sense to do it together.”
