Friday: The June birthday party for those who have birthdays this month is today. Entertainment is by David Falls. The quilling class begins at 9 a.m. The exercise class begins at 10:30 a.m. Texas Hold’em Poker is at noon. The ceramics class begins at noon. Bingo is at 12:15 p.m.
Monday: The card making class begins at noon. Bingo is at 12:15 p.m. Texas Hold ‘em Poker is at noon.
Tuesday: The blood pressure clinic is from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Lapidary is at 8:30 a.m. The China painting class is at 9 a.m. There is an exercise class for those with arthritis beginning at 10 a.m. The quilters group meets at 10 a.m. The Oldies sing during lunch. Pinochle and Skipbo are played at 12:15 p.m. There is a movie and free popcorn at 12:15 p.m. Shopping is at 12:15 p.m. There is line dancing at 1 p.m.

Today: Bonnie Athas will give nutrition tips at 11:30 a.m. The water exercise class begins at 9 a.m. in the Layton pool. Lifetime Fitness begins at 9 a.m. at the center. The wire-wrapping class is by appointment at 9 a.m. Arts & Crafts and card games are at 10 a.m. Bridge is played at noon and there is shopping at Walmart at noon.
Friday: It is “Birthday Friday!” Enjoy old friends, good food, balloons and cake with Tom George at 11:30 a.m. The arthritis exercise class is at 8:30 a.m. The lapidary class is at 8 a.m., the computer class begins at 9:30 a.m. The movie “Monster-in-law” starring Jennifer Lopez, Jane Fonda and Michael Vartan will be shown at noon, free popcorn with be served.

Tuesday: There will be Red, White and Blue Trivia at 11:30 a.m. The Lapidary/Silversmith class begins at 8 a.m. The quilting bee is at 9 a.m. Lifetime Fitness is at 9 a.m. The computer class begins at 9:30 a.m. The van takes seniors shopping at Bowman’s at noon. Square dancing is at 12:30 p.m.

Today: There is an exercise class for those who have arthritis at 12:30 in the Hayward Room. Exercises are for range of motion, balance and flexibility, regular exercise may also reduce pain. The Bill Curtis Band will entertain at 10:30 a.m. The Lapidary class is at 8 a.m. There is a sing along at 12:30 p.m. Shopping is at Smith’s at 12:30 p.m.
Friday: Those whose birthdays are in June may celebrate at the center beginning with entertainment at 10:30 a.m. Lunch will begin at 11 a.m. Cakes will be given to the oldest seniors in attendance. Call the center for a reservation. Senior tap is from 8 to 9 a.m. Video aerobics is at 8:30 a.m. The water color class is from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The stained glass class is from 9 a.m. to noon. Line dancing is from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Tuesday: The Wendover trip is today. The cost is $13 which includes transportation, Bingo on the bus, a free buffet voucher, $5 cash back and free drinks at the casino. The bus leaves the center at 8:30 a.m. and returns about 7 p.m. The Alzheimer’s Workshop begins at 10:30 a.m. The tap class is from 8 to 9 a.m. Tap is at 8 a.m., and lapidary/silversmith class is at 8 a.m. Check out the Woodcarving class at 9 a.m. Tai Chi is at 10:30 a.m. The book club meets at 12:30 p.m.

Menus
Davis Senior Services luncheons are the same at all of the county centers and are served at 11:30 a.m. A $2.50 donation is suggested. Tuesday: Grilled Italian sausage, steamed cabbage, oven potatoes, roll, pineapple upside down cake and milk.
