Rollover pins man in truck Thursday

PLAIN CITY — The driver of a Chevrolet pick-up truck spent almost half an hour pinned inside the vehicle after a rollover accident Thursday.

The man was driving north on 4700 West when a westbound, black sport utility vehicle ran the stop sign at 1500 North and hit him, Weber County Sheriff’s Sgt. Jason Talbot said. The accident occurred around 6:30 p.m.

The truck rolled over onto the driver’s side just north of the intersection, pinning the man inside. Rescuers had to extricate him from the truck, Talbot said.

No one was injured.
