NORTH OGDEN — The North Ogden Community Garden invites everyone to get their cars washed between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. today at Kirt’s Family Drive Inn, 1974 N. Washington Blvd.
There will also be someone there to vacuum cars for a little extra money.
“Every penny raised will go toward a fence for the community garden,” states a news release.
The garden is at 550 E. 2550 North.
Organizers encourage area residents and businesses to “buy” a 6-foot section of fence, which includes a plaque that shows the donors’ support for the community or that may be dedicated to the memory of a loved one.
