A man drove into a tree Thursday afternoon in Ogden after police suspect he took a turn too fast in the rain. The 37-year-old man, who was not immediately identified, turned left from 7th Street onto Washington Boulevard around 12:45 p.m., but he lost control of his silver Nissan and ran into a tree, says Ogden Police Lt. Tony Fox. Witnesses say they saw two people transported from the scene by ambulance, but police could not confirm any injuries. The man was cited for driving too fast for conditions.
