LAYTON -- The Utah Department of Public Safety is warning of possible traffic delays today on the funeral procession route for UHP Trooper Aaron Beesley.
Expect traffic interruptions through Layton, Clearfield and West Point from 1 to 3 p.m.
Services for Beesley are scheduled for 11 a.m. today at Northridge High School, 2430 N. Hill Field Road.
The route begins at Northridge High School and continues north before turning left on 3000 North. The procession continues past Interstate15 before turning right on State Street in Clearfield, which bends into Main Street. It makes a left on 300 North, followed by another left on 4000 West, before reaching the West Point Memorial Cemetery.
Beesley, 34, of Bear River City, died while participating in a helicopter rescue mission to find a pair of hikers on Mount Olympus, east of Salt Lake City.
