SOUTH OGDEN -- Police have identified Arline H. Logan, 88, as the woman who died in a four-vehicle accident Friday morning that also injured six other people.
South Ogden Police spokeswoman Officer Marci Edwards said the ambulance was going west on U.S. 89, with its lights and siren on, when a white Buick heading south on Sunset entered the intersection on a green light and was struck by the ambulance. After hitting the Buick, the ambulance then struck both a Toyota Corolla and a Toyota Camry stopped at the light, facing east on U.S. 89.
Logan was a passenger in the front seat of the Buick, which was driven by 67-year-old Bert Noorda, and was declared dead at Ogden Regional Medical Center.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
