LAYTON — Kent Anderson has been named as the city’s new economic development specialist.
Anderson, who has worked the past 14 months as a city planner with neighboring Syracuse, fills the post vacated by Ben Hart, who left in May to become the director of employee initiatives for the Department of Workforce Services.
A native of Harrisville, Anderson earned his undergraduate degree from Utah State University before earning his master’s from Sacramento State University.
