FARMINGTON -- A revised subdivision plan that calls for 17 lots on 10.1 acres at approximately North Compton Road and Oakwood Place has been given approval.
Shepard Ridge Enterprises LC gained schematic approval of the revised project plan at a recent meeting of the city council. The newly revised plan changes phases 1-3 of the project.
The project is expected to undergo further scrutiny as it moves forward. Christy Alexander, associate city planner, said Shepard Ridge will either have to apply for an open space waiver or reconfigure proposed open space in the project before it can be granted preliminary or final plat approval.
City council members talked about potentially granting a waiver for the open space requirement but working out compensation for the waiver as part of the final plat approval.
