SALT LAKE CITY — Officials say an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.5 has struck northern Utah.
The University of Utah Seismograph Stations reports the earthquake struck at 1:53 p.m. Friday. The epicenter has been identified as the Cache Valley, five miles west of Richmond and 12 miles northwest of Logan. Officials say the earthquake was felt in Smithfield and Logan and other towns in the Cache Valley.
