MORGAN — A 53-year-old man was arrested Friday after search warrants were served at his homes in Morgan and Salt Lake City as part of a child pornography investigation.
Scott L. Gollaher was booked into the Weber County Jail on 10 counts of possession of child pornography and is being held without bond, said Detective Bill Wentland of the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office.
Last month, Gollaher, who is described as a Salt Lake City businessman, was arrested on four counts of sexual abuse of a child, Wentland said.
Gollaher is suspected of abusing two female acquaintances younger than 14 at his Morgan residence in early June. There may also be other victims, said Wentland.
Law enforcement personnel received information that Gollaher had taken photos of his victims which led to the execution of search warrants Friday for child pornography, said Wentland.
The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office was assisted in serving the search warrants and collecting evidence by the Weber County Sheriff’s Office, North Ogden Police Department, Ogden Police Department, Salt Lake City Police Department and FBI.
“The searches were very successful,” said Wentland, who would not comment on the type or amount of evidence seized.
