WEST VALLEY CITY — Police say a 44-year-old man is recovering after a shooting at his ex-girlfriend’s West Valley City apartment complex. Authorities say Dell Archuleta went to his 25-year-old ex’s apartment and an argument broke out. Police say 28-year-old Joshua Kunz pulled a gun and shot Archuleta in the stomach about 7 p.m. Sunday. Archuleta was found collapsed on the grass outside the complex. He was taken to the hospital and was in stable condition Monday morning. Detectives say Archuleta’s relationship with the woman ended with a restraining order against him. Kunz was booked into the Salt Lake County Jail on suspicion of attempted homicide, possession of a stolen firearm and possession of a firearm by a restricted person.
