Ogden church to host 'cowboy revival'

OGDEN — This Friday, the Wasatch Cowboy Church is offering a special service in conjunction with Ogden Pioneer Days.

Billed as an “Ole Fashioned Cowboy Revival,” the event will feature special guests from Songs of Faith Ministry in Alberta, Canada.

Mike and Suzann Burns are known for their Christ-centered presentations featuring “down-home singing and rhymes from the range.”

Their biography states that their performances “stir up memories of camp meetings and gospel sings and strike a responsive chord among country and city folks alike.”

The event, sponsored by Mountain View Baptist Church and Wasatch Cowboy Church, is free to the public and will be from 7 p.m. to

9 p.m. Friday in the outdoor arena at the Golden Spike Events Center, 1000 N. 1200 West, Ogden.

“Drinks and grub” will be available from the arena concession stand.
