PLAIN CITY -- Council members approved the purchase of a used wood chipper to be used at the landfill for $3,500.

City employee Don Weston said the chipper will be on a trailer, so it will be mobile and can also be used at the parks. Weston said the wood chips will be useful throughout parts of the city where gravel cannot be used.
