Family Fitness Festival offers fun for all

OGDEN — The Family Fitness Festival is set for Aug. 25. The event includes a 5K, a 1-mile senior walk, breakfast and other activities for the whole family.

Start time is 8:15 a.m. for walkers and 8:30 a.m. for runners. Check-in/day of race registration is from 7:15 a.m. to 8 a.m. at the MTC Learning Park, 1750 Monroe Blvd., in Ogden.

Cost is $15 in advance; $20 for late registration. There is no cost for the senior walk (age 55-older) or for those younger than 11. Register by Aug. 10 to be guaranteed a T-shirt.

Proceeds will benefit local substance abuse prevention and Senior Corps programs.
