OGDEN — The city council recently approved a Capital Improvement Project for the refurbishment of the cart paths at Mt. Ogden Golf Course, and in some cases, for the paths to be rerouted.
In recent years, Mt. Ogden golfers have seen the addition of an events pavilion, changes to the course to make it more playable and recent upgrades to the cart and mowing fleet at the course.
Todd Brenkman, golf course manager and PGA Professional eagerly awaited for funding of the project and believes it is an important upgrade.
Jeff McFarland, course superintendent redesigned a few of the cart paths, to help provide a smoother driving surface.
The work, both repaving of existing paths and laying new paths, was handled in-house by the Public Ways and Parks Division.
Not only was the work done by the Public Ways and Parks Division professional and top quality it was able to complete the project on all 18 holes in less than one month.
