Centerville opts to keep drainage company

CENTERVILLE -- The city has opted to keep its current contractor for annual drainage system maintenance, as prices have held steady.

The city council recently authorized Twin “D” to continue services. The contract was awarded to the company last year, and it included a provision that allows the city to renew the contract for another year at the same unit prices, if desired by the city.

The maintenance contract is estimated for $103,410 for the fiscal year 2012 to 2013. Staff recommended the contract be approved, and the council agreed.
