Man suspected of 3 DUIs in 3 days eligible for bail in Cache

LOGAN — A man accused of driving under the influence three times in three days is eligible to bail out of jail for $30,000.

Prosecutors object to making 41-year-old Daniel Kropf eligible for bail and say he is a danger to the community, but a Cache County judge says he’s innocent until proven guilty

The Herald Journal reports that the bail conditions were discussed this week and that Kropf would have to wear ankle monitor to comply.

Authorities first booked Kropf into the jail July 8. He bailed out of jail, but was picked up again July 9. Police say he was behind the wheel of a black Escalade when he was arrested again about 6:30 p.m. July 10.
