SALT LAKE CITY -- Salt Lake City is enlisting help from the Outdoor Retailer Show to clean up the banks of the Jordan River.
About 27,000 people are in town this week for the trade show for outdoor goods.
The city's Volunteer Coordinator Savannah Wake expects about 100 people to show up Friday evening at Jordan Park.
The volunteers will pick up litter, rip out invasive weeds and tidy a mile or two of river banks.
Officials say the Philadelphia-based online apparel company United by Blue offered help for the cleanup.
