GROUSE CREEK -- A 375-acre grass fire, dubbed the Pine Canyon Fire, continued burning near here Saturday.
The blaze started Friday three miles east of Grouse Creek in the northwestern corner of Box Elder County.
The cause was still under investigation by the Bureau of Land Management on Saturday.
Cami Lee, a BLM public information officer, said some timber stands and cattle grazing allotments were at risk. She said the fire was in terrain difficult to reach, making firefighting efforts more difficult.
"Because it's been so dry lately, the fire could grow more," she said.
