SALT LAKE CITY -- A man suspected of killing a man and injuring another during a shooting in Salt Lake City faces charges of aggravated murder and attempted aggravated murder.
Prosecutors filed the charges against 36-year-old Michael Eugene Vigil for the July 28 shootings that killed Antonio Vasquez and injured Lee Otero.
KSL reports (http://goo.gl/xJ5q0) that authorities allege in court documents that Vasquez and Otero were visiting Vigil's parents when Vigil arrived and began shooting. Authorities have not disclosed a motive for the shooting.
Vigil is being held at the Salt Lake City jail on $1 million bail.
