Nominations open for arts awards in Ogden

OGDEN — Nominations for Mayor Mike Caldwell’s Ogden City Awards in the Arts are now being accepted.

Held each October in conjunction with National Arts and Humanities month, the Ogden City Mayor’s Awards in the Arts program was created to provide an opportunity to recognize individual artists and arts organizations that are making a difference in Ogden.

Deserving artists, art advocates or organizations must be nominated by 4 p.m. Aug. 17.

Nomination forms can be found and submitted at www.ogdencityarts.org. Forms can also be picked up and submitted at the Ogden City Arts Office, 2484 Washington Blvd., Suite 101.

Nominees for all awards must live or have their primary work place in the city of Ogden.

Ogden City’s Mayor’s Awards in the Arts reception will be held Oct. 11.
