Police seek help finding missing child

A 5-year-old boy is missing and police want the public to keep an eye out for him and the woman they suspect has him.

Noah Gardner was taken by his mother, Gina Elizabeth Cross, on Aug. 3 as she was about to lose custody of him, according to a news release from the Tooele Police Department.

Police believe Cross may be in Salt Lake City or Davis County.

Noah Gardner is described as a white male with brown eyes, blond hair, 3 feet 6 inches tall and weighing 50 pounds.

Cross is described as a white female with brown eyes, brown hair, 5 feet 1 inch tall and weighing 90 pounds. Police add that she is mentally ill.

She may be driving a red 2008 Chevy Aveo four-door sedan, with Utah plate A650JM.

Anyone with information is asked to call local law enforcement.
