PLEASANT VIEW -- A 62-year-old woman died Saturday after falling off the roof of her house.
Police are waiting to identify the woman until her family knows of her death. As far as police know, it seems she was doing some sort of work on her roof when she fell, said Pleasant View Police Sgt. Jerry Anderson.
The woman was alone at the time and lives at a house north of the Pleasant View city offices at 520 W. Elberta Drive.
Someone spotted the fallen woman and called for help about 5:30 p.m. She could not be flown to a hospital because she was in full cardiac arrest, so she was taken to an area hospital in an ambulance, Anderson said.
She was pronounced dead at the hospital.
